2016-2017 Wilderness Inquiry
The project "Minnesota's Youth Outdoors" expands on place-based educational opportunities for under-served youth throughout Minnesota. This project engages an additional 6,000 underserved Minnesota youth. Wilderness Inquiry partners with public, charter, and private schools to participate in experiential learning throughout greater Minnesota.
$200,000 each year is for grants to Wilderness Inquiry to preserve Minnesota's outdoor history, culture, and heritage by connecting Minnesota youth to natural resources.
Engage an additional 6,000 underserved Minnesota youth in place-based educational opportunities primarily through public school partnerships. Conduct 30 educational events emphasizing Arts, Culture, and Minnesota History.
