The goal of this project is to bring awareness to the development of St. Paul’s West Side into a thriving business center of Latino culture and commerce, District del Sol. Through a series of online videos, past and present West Side residents and business owners share their lived experiences and reflections, revealing the strong sense of cultural pride and community in this St. Paul neighborhood. While no one person can speak for an entire community, we hope all Minnesotans will take the time to learn about this important part of Minnesota history, told firsthand.
