Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

8: "Regional residents learn new arts skills and techniques." I hope to develop and improve my oil painting skills. I hope to learn from the specific experiences of my mentor as to how she developed her artistic skills and how she has been able to pursue a career in producing her artwork. Throughout the 5 sessions working under my mentor, I will have her critique the oil paintings that I create to give me feedback on how I've implemented the techniques she'll teach me and how I've improved throughout the time I work with her. I will have the knowledge of the path she took to making a career as an oil painting artist which will give me ideas on how I might one day pursue a career in art.
