Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

We intend to enroll between 10 and 15 adult learners and a corresponding 1:1 number of volunteer mentors to participate in the workshop and mentorship project, with each author producing at least two written pieces of work. We anticipate that at least 75% authors will be published for the first time and at least 75% indicate that their confidence in writing will have increased. We will survey both mentors and authors at the conclusion of the project to gauge the success of the program based on increase in confidence and skills. We will count attendance of community members at public readings. We will count attendance of authors at all mentorship and workshop events.
