Only area public event dedicated to enhancement of the art form of bluegrass music. Region is predominately rural and venue is a valuable opportunity to educate and promote an art form to the public. Facilities are handicapped accessible. Comment/suggestion box, random interviews with audience, board listens to programming for quality, one day bluegrass music/instruments workshop to stimulate interest and education prior to festival with evaluation forms completed.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Provide exposure to heritage art from at a reasonable fee in rural area, education via free workshops and opportunity to demonstrate talents via open stage. Attendance was 1740, Workshops had over 50 participants, 42 performers for open stage.
