Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

To provide all K-6 graders with two experiences in Native American dance and music. At the end of the Native American residency 90% of the students will understand the dance technique and be able to perform it at an all school performance. Also, students will participate in Native American visual art activities and students will be able to list at least one Native American art activity and will create at least one art project for the end of the year celebration.Evaluation of Native American residency completed by teachers as they observe student participation and performance and teachers complete an evaluation form with three questions on a point scale of 1-5. Students will complete an evaluation form with three questions about the Native American visual art activities, using a point scale of 1-5. Teachers will make sure each student has created a Native American art project.
