Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Each of the four sessions will attract 50 attendees, for a total attendance of 200. Audiences will learn how theater can deepen understanding of commonly held community values, how dance techniques cross cultures, how flute music can evoke aesthetic response, and how architecture can be viewed as artistic creation. At least 30 persons per program will be able to articulate at least one specific concept that was learned and identify an artistic technique or way in which art illustrates common values.Headwaters Center for Lifelong Learning will create a Facebook page for posting two types of results: photographic images of attendees at Headwaters Center for Lifelong Learning programs and narrative statements that specify what was learned by attendees to the programs. Attendees will be given the choice of filling out a questionnaire at the event itself or going online after the event and recording on the Facebook page comments about what was learned.

Measurable Outcome(s)

A survey was given to each attendee that asked the responder to indicate something specific that was learned from today’s presentation. We received many, many positive comments and articulate descriptions of what audience members learned. Not as many comments were posted online as we had originally envisioned.
