Arts and Cultural Heritage Grant
ACHF Arts Access
The target audiences include the artists who will be using the studio space and visitors to the arts center. The new electrical system and clean air will create studio access for local artists who will have the opportunity to create art more often and therefore increase their skill level and productivity. Access to a studio space for artists will affect patrons of the arts who will seek out opportunities to view artwork and artists at work in the new studio space. Both artists and patrons will be asked to fill out survey questions aimed at determining whether the new arts space has affected their understanding and awareness of the arts, increased the amount of time spent creating and or viewing art, and increased their involvement in visual arts activity.
The installation of the air purifier in the initial location was noted in surveys to have overwhelmingly positively impacted the air quality and ability to remain in the space. The studio space was moved from its initial location to the Pioneer Youth Center in Baudette. The air purifier in the new space will continue to offer the members of the Art Guild, as the target audience, the opportunity to increase their skill level and productivity.
