Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The audience, with a target of 85% of the high school seniors in attendance, will show measurable growth in knowledge and awareness of Eva Peron’s life as well as an appreciation for the set design, costumes, acting, singing, and dancing; an 80% response from course instructors who have brought their students to the play will indicate that attending Evita was an excellent experience for enriching their world history and drama courses; and an 85% response from invited guests from the battered women’s shelter and Evergreen House that will indicate having gained a sense of empowerment and inspiration through the story of the life of Eva Peron.Audience members will respond to questions via text messaging to polleverywhere.com, students and teachers will respond to a survey monkey questionnaire following their attendance at the performance, and special guests from area non-profits will be given a paper survey.

Measurable Outcome(s)

We surpassed our target goal of 85%, based on the poll results 88% of the participating high school students gained knowledge and awareness of Eva Peron’s life and appreciated the theatrical aspects of the performance. The students seemed pleased to be able to give instant feedback.
