ACHF Arts Access ACHF Arts Education
The target audience includes Nemeth Art Center visitors of all ages and all socio-economic backgrounds. The measurable outcomes for this program include creating access in northwest Minnesota to a highly artistic program, engaging the target audience in thoughtful dialogue about the arts, raising awareness of the Nemeth Art Center and the Park Rapids region as an arts destination, and providing a Minnesota artist with a professional opportunity outside the metro region.Viewer questionnaires regarding viewer observations, ideas, and opinions will indicate the ways in which the show has impacted the viewers. Talk back sessions will be video-taped and reviewed for positive/negative response and learning. Newsletter readers will be invited to offer their thoughts on the projects and prompted to indicate ways in which this project has changed the way the respondent views artwork.
We used talk back sessions, email, and surveys to measure the outcomes of this event. In total 600 people participated, making this show the most well attended of our summer programs, and helping extend regional awareness of Nemeth Art Center. We received several responses including Thanks for this! I really admire your unusual and creative projects, and Allen Brewer was great. What an interesting artist and project. Never thought I’d see that in Park Rapids! Respondents to the online survey were also very positive with 92% responding that attending Allen Brewer’s lecture made them more likely to seek out other arts experiences, and 90% responding they enjoyed the experience. 2% wanted to see more artist lectures come to Nemeth Art Center.
