At least 25 area children will participate as actors and 80% will report that their experience was enjoyable and that they want to do it again. 50% or more will report that they learned something new. At least two high school students will participate as tech crew (lights and sound), and video recording crew and at least 50% will report they learned something new about off-stage activities connected with a theater production and that they want to do it again.Each participant, the children as actors and the high school students as tech and video recording crew, will be asked to complete a survey. Parents may help complete the surveys if necessary.
There were 39 participants and of the 20 who turned in their surveys, 100% reported learning something new and want to do it again. We were only able to find one high school student for tech duties and he was easily able to accomplish what was needed. It was his first time working with Pequana Playhouse, but he indicated he might be willing to try it again.
