Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

We will feature readings by accomplished career writers/teachers. We will offer a traveling version of an annual poetry event in Minneapolis/St Paul. We will encourage interaction between audience and performer and provide access to books by performers including an anthology from ôThe Great Twin Cities Poetry Road Show.ö We will expend educational opportunities of participants by offering workshops as part of the Spoken Word Series.In an exit survey 95% or more of those completing the survey will agree they had a good or excellent experience and will express a positive reaction through narrative comments toward the reading. There will be an audience count at every event in which we expect to garner between 70-150 attendees for evening readings.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Listeners were attentive and responsive at readings. Their audible reactions were an indication of how focused they were and their many questions for the presenters were evidence of their interest. Surveys were collected at each event and respondents repo
