Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Students will be introduced to works of art by various artists and will learn the skills relevant to each art form. Students will learn that art is all around and that they have the ability and resources to create art at home or anywhere.During the first session, students will be asked a series of questions about the artists and art forms that we will be studying. During the sixth session they will be asked again and answers compared. Students will be provided with basic art supplies. Small incentives will be given to students who bring art work to a session that they have done at home.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Attendance exceeded expectations and there were waiting lists; the exhibits were attended by more adults than anticipated.
