Arts learning opportunities are more accessible to Minnesota because barriers to participation have been identified and mitigated. More Minnesotans are engaged in arts learning opportunities.
Nineteen quality arts programs were offered by 14 teaching artists to a total of 572 participants ages 5-18. Evaluation tools used include tracking participant attendance at each session and a participant survey at the end of each arts program. 272 participant surveys were completed. Additionally, teaching artists were requested to take a survey in which three surveys were completed/returned. 2: Nineteen quality arts programs were offered by 14 teaching artists to a total of 572 Minnesotans ages 5-18. As a result of this grant opportunity, 572 youth participated in arts programs that would otherwise not been offered. Participant attendance was taken at each session. Club staff recorded member participation on a sign in form at each session and then entered the data on the Clubs' member tracking software KidTrax to determine frequency of attendance.
