As a result of this project students will be inspired to learn methods and create watercolor landscape paintings with artist, Jim Mondloch and showcase them in a display at the school. Evaluation will occur through a follow up meeting with the project planners and a questionnaire for the participants. We will also evaluate by the number of community members that see the art display at the school.
One hundred three students at Stephen/Argyle High School painted with watercolor artist, Jim Mondloch. 100% of students and staff surveyed indicated the residency taught them more about painting and they enjoyed the residency. The questionnaire was completed by the cooperating teacher, Melanie McGlynn and the students participating in the residency.
