Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Goal is to get Adrian High School students excited about visiting art galleries and viewing artwork in person, exposing them to contemporary artwork and art gallery spaces, and showing students who really love art classes that there are other individuals outside their own community that enjoy making and exhibiting their artwork. Students will understand that there is a place for their artwork even after the high school art room. Articles in the paper and art show will help the community understand the importance of the art program and how their tax money is being spent in a positive way.Students will be asked to fill out a survey after the field trip. A community member survey will be conducted at the end-of-year art show.

Measurable Outcome(s)

This project opened a lot of my students' eyes to different kinds of artwork and careers in the arts. When the students returned to the classroom, I could definitely sense a renewed interest in their work. Students stated to see art in new ways not just l
