Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Students will learn the stages of clay. Students will be exposed to different ceramic artists, styles and techniques. Students will learn hand-building techniques. Students will create their own ceramic artwork.The students learning will be measured by the outcome of their final ceramic project they complete during the artist residency. Their grades will be based on criteria stated in a rubric. Students will also take a short quiz on the objectives of the ceramic unit.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Students completed a ceramic project which was graded based on the established rubric. Students also completed an exit survey/quiz based on the techniques and vocabulary they learned throughout the residency.
