Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

60 participants ranging in age from 8-14 will learn or improve musical, theater, design, and movement skills by each having a part in the production behind the scenes. Surveys, observations, and talking circles will be used to evaluate. Surveys will be used to review skill level and knowledge. Observations will be used to check the attendance as well as participation. Talking circles will be used for feedback.

Measurable Outcome(s)

From the surveys we learned that participants felt that they improved their acting, dancing, and backstage skills and many said that their opinion of theater had been changed by the experience. All but two respondents said they would audition for theater performances in the future. Stage combat was by far the most popular activity as called out on the survey.
