Project Overview

This proposal will result in protection of 58 acres. These parcels will then be donated to the US Fish & Wildlife Service to become a Waterfowl Production Areas (WPA's). The acquisition of these tracts will connect two large existing WPA's (820 acre Big Kandiyohi Lake WPA & 312 acre Lake Lillian WPA) and allow for the restoration and protection of 25 plus acres of wetlands. The land will be managed consistent with the WPA system and protected as such.
