Project Overview

The Classical MPR Education Initiative focuses on engaging several different stakeholders in the arts education of Minnesota students. After asking communities how a media organization could help them with education needs, we found that MPR can have the most impact on music education in Minnesota with a holistic approach that reaches not only students and teachers, but also parents and community members. Our comprehensive education plan targets each of these groups with related initiatives that all tie back to fostering engagement and creating community around music education.
