Pine Grove Zoo will present educational programs for all ages, build partnerships with area schools and provide interpretive information in order to build understanding and respect for nature and wildlife. The zoo will build programs that are accurate, current and science based that are appropriate for audience age, knowledge and perspectives. Outreach presentations are age appropriate, follow Minnesota academic standards in Life Science, are hands-on, incorporate both animals and artifacts, and actively involve participants in touching, talking and asking questions.

Feedback sheets will measure feedback from participants, reception of presented information, and understanding of the overall zoo message. Feedback is reviewed and evaluated by the Education Coordinator and is used to make recommendations to better serve zoo guests.

57 free programs were presented to schools and senior centers, with the 26 of 28 feedback forms rating the program Excellent.
