Project Overview
- Produce a six minute feature on nationally renowned Minnesota author Gerald Vizenor, a poet and author whose work examines the concept of "Indianness" and the Anishinaabe culture.
- Produce a six minute feature on Paul Olson, a sculptor who lives in Twin Cities and is a graduate of Concordia College. His works appear and sit in numerous buildings, colleges and structures throughout Minnesota and upper Midwest.
- Produce a short documentary of the Fergus Falls State Hospital building, primarily covering its architectural significance, but also briefly covering how our treatment of the mentally handicapped has changed over time.
- Begin research and site visits for a 30 minute documentary on the restoration of Stained glass windows in historic churches in Western MN.
- Provide a small portion of the editing budget for a biographical documentary project by Concordia College, Morehead Professor Robert Chabora on the life of artist Malcom Frager.
- Produce 3 art education modules with MN Native artist Buck Paulson for use in the K-12 classroom.
- Produce 5 half hour studio performances by Minnesota musicians (Prairie Musicians)
