Landscape Architecture
The slogan of the Adult Summer Reading Program was Water your Mind READ. The theme was gardening. At the Landscape Architecture program, adults learned how to improve their yard and/or lakeshore through a lecture and slideshow presented by the instructors of the Master Gardener Program of the University of Minnesota. Attendees were invited to bring a picture of an area of their yard or lakeshore that they wanted to improve and make more attractive. 71 adults attended the program at 16 public libraries.
