Conversion of land with a retiring agricultural lease at Frontenac state park to restored upland prairie.
About the Issue
Although this restoration appears to be ahead of schedule, it is anticipated that it will still require a few additional years to be considered established. After that a regular burn interval will be established as well as spot checks for invasive species to insure that the high quality of the restoration is maintained.
