We had a great first Legacy Event on January 27th at Silverwood Regional Park in St. Anthony, MN. With staff from the DNR, Metropolitan Council, and Greater Minnesota Regional Parks and Trails Commission, we were able to engage 200 visitors about the Legacy Amendment.
Through celebrating, educating, and listening, we successfully spread the word about the achievements of the Legacy Amendment and gathered valuable feedback about the public’s vision for the future. With informative displays, interactive feedback programs, and exciting activities, it was a fun and successful event for people of all ages. From ice fishing to kick sledding to s’mores making, there was something for everybody! We look forward to hosting the upcoming Legacy events, which will all have unique activities and displays.
