May Yang graduated from UMN - Duluth with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental and Sustainability and currently lives in Saint Paul. She recently accepted the Pathways Program Manager position with Conservation Corps MN & IA and will work closely with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Minnesota Board of Board of Water and Soil Resources, and Minnesota Pollution Control Agency to implement a new program for under-represented college students pursuing a STEM degree program and create a workforce pathway for them. Prior to her current role, she has experience with volunteer recruitment, managing interns and a volunteer program, and advertising restoration volunteer opportunities from Great River Greening. May served in the CCMI Individual Placement Program with MN Valley National Wildlife Refuge in 2016 and assisted the Urban Wildlife Conservation Program by introducing environmental education to diverse youth and adults throughout the Twin Cities.
