Poppy Potter

Elizabeth (Poppy) Potter has worked with youth and young adults for nearly 30 years in experiential settings. She's currently the Director of Group Programs and Twin Cities Center for the Voyageur Outward Bound School. She played an instrumental role in starting the local Twin Cities program in 2010. This organization now helps over 1500 Twin Cities youth learn through challenge and discovery in the states beautiful green and wild places. Prior to this Poppy taught high school students at Skills for Tomorrow Charter High School for 9 years. While there she served as the Service Learning Director and Special Education Teacher. Poppy also served other non-profit organizations such as the YMCA, Girl Scouts of America, and The American Youth Foundation. Poppy has served on two different school boards, volunteered as a mentor for high school students and college graduates in the New Sector Alliance program. She currently serves as a board member of Three Rivers Park District Foundation. When not working Poppy loves to get out on the trails and take photos, backpack, camp and spend time with family and friends.
