Randy Sorensen is committed to insuring people with disabilities can access the outdoors as easily as the public without disabilities can.  To that end the organization he directs, Options Interstate Resource Center for Independent Living, a private not for profit, has assisted by providing technical assistance on programmatic as well as physical accessibility to various local, county, state, and Federal entities.  Personally, Randy has been an active Volunteer and Board Member of the Friends of Rydell and Glacial Ridge National Wildlife Refuges.  For the last 15 years he has coordinated an accessible deer hunt for people with disabilities.  He has provided technical assistance on accessible hunting, assisted in the development of accessible hunts, and presented at a National Training teaching US Department of the Interior sub-division personnel about how to hold accessible hunts for people with all types of disabilities.  Currently, he is working on the further development of a website that will inform readers of accessible hunting elements, fishing elements, nature viewing elements, with specialized hunting and fishing events.
