As a result of this funding, hearing impaired audience members will experience an increased level of participation through the use of hearing assisted devices and additions of handicapped accessible restrooms and improved flooring will make mobility easier for those attending theater or other events at the BCT Performing Arts Center. Evaluation methods include paper surveys administered post activity to gauge reaction by audience members to the new space including the use of assisted listening devices, restrooms, and other amenities. Anecdotal evidence will be gained during the event as ushers, box office staff etc. engage audience members in conversation regarding the use of assisted listening devices, restrooms, other amenities, and their overall impression of the new space. Both groups will be polled about improvements.
