Public Information and Communication
Minnesota Historical Society staff created and implemented communication strategies for FY12 and FY13 Legacyfunded history projects and programs, including the "Then Now Wow" exhibit, designed with schoolchildren in mind. Increasing public awareness of these investments ensures that students, teachers and the general public use and benefit from them, giving greater understanding of Minnesota's history and legacy for the future. The Society reached out to potential audiences through media relations efforts, social media, digital marketing and through communications channels and events ranging from billboards and newsletters to outreach at teacher conferences and the Minnesota State Fair.
The Minnesota Historical Society is creating communication strategies and promotional materials for 2012 Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund history projects and programs. Increasing public awareness of these ACHF investments will ensure that students, teachers and the general public will use and benefit from them.
Programs. $4,800,000 the first year and $4,800,000 the second year are for programs and purposes related to the historical and cultural heritage of the state of Minnesota, conducted by the Minnesota Historical Society.
