Rose Ensemble Performances in 2011
The Rose Ensemble, founded in 1996 and based in St. Paul, presented an evening vocal performance at several ECRL communities along with an educational outreach program at a corresponding ECRL branch. The programs presented included Voices of Ancient Mediterranean Christians, Jews & Muslims; The Last Queen of Hawaii’: Music from the Soul of the Hawaiian Saga; and And Glory Shone Around: Early American Hymns, Ballads and Spiritual Songs. The Rose Ensemble mission is to reawaken the ancient with vocal music that strives to stir the emotions, challenge the mind and lift the spirit.

Program Outputs:
A total of 819 children and adults attended the programs at the school performing arts centers and local libraries.
Measurable Outcomes may be collected by survey, anecdotal responses, pre-test/post-test, observations; Describe proposed end user change in Behavior, Attitude, Skills, Knowledge, Condition and/or Status. Attendees will learn about new composers, instruments, musical genres and musical compositions.
