Project Overview

The Breckenridge Public Library offered a Bus Trip from Breckenridge to Minneapolis on June 10, 2017. The trip included a guided tour of the Mill City Museum and self-guided exploration of the other exhibits along with viewings of the Flour Tower multimedia show and Minneapolis in 19 Minutes Flat movie (admission tickets for both of these are included in the tour cost). The mill trip was followed by lunch and exploration at the Midtown Global Market before heading back to Breckenridge.

Attendees will learn about the Mill and its place in Minnesota's history.
They will experience the diversity of people groups in Minnesota at the Global Market as they take in the culture, music, art and foods available there.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Surveys were collected from attendees. The trip was very highly rated. Attendees appreciated the learning about Minnesota history and being able to see places in Minnesota they wouldn't otherwise be able to visit.
