KWCM - Pioneer Series Production
Postcards will enter its sixth season of telling stories about the people of western Minnesota. Season six will focus on stories about artists, communities, local histories and heritage through 20 half-hour episodes. Because Pioneer’s broadcast signal reaches an area from Detroit Lakes to Luverne, most of the stories will come from communities within that broadcast area.
Prairie Yard and Garden is produced through a long-standing partnership with the University of Minnesota Morris. The FY 2015 season of this series is expected to start in January 2015. Two segments of this series will focus on the arts, history or cultural heritage associated with the outdoors. In past years, these segments have included stories on sculpture gardens, the history of agriculture, and Native American landscapes.
