Project Overview
On Stage will again feature local musicians performing in the historic Appleton Opera House. Musical performances from other venues may be included. The segments will focus primarily on solo and small ensemble performances in two or more half-hour special broadcasts.
Sherwin Linton’s Holiday Concert (working title) is based on ideas generated during FY 2013 and FY 2014, when Pioneer first started work on stories about this Minnesotan’s 50-year career in country music. This special production will include some of the performer’s holiday songs, and air in December 2014. (As an extension of the FY 2014 workplan, Pioneer’s documentary about Sherwin Linton is scheduled to air in fall of 2014).
