Project Overview

In FY13, the Minnesota Public Radio (MPR) Archives will leverage the work that we’ve done thus far with funding from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund (ACHF) – digitizing, cataloging and the creation of the public Archive Portal - and expand into a more public role by spearheading the creation of the Minnesota Archive Partnership.

This partnership will involve creating the infrastructure to tie together the existing digital archives of three major Minnesota cultural entities – MPR, Twin Cities Public Television (tpt), and the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra (SPCO). This archive partnership would dramatically increase public access to Minnesota cultural and historical materials in a range of platforms.
