Project Overview

Minnesota’s Iron Range helped build a nation and win two world wars. A new historical documentary in production, Lost Iron Range, will tell the story of people and places, indeed entire towns, that have faded from memory. A melting pot of cultures and once home to a vast white pine forest, the Iron Range is best known as the iron mining capital of the United States.
