Project Overview
As part of LARL's Statewide Initiative Participation, two performances of Irish Lumber Camp Songs were put on by the Minnesota Historical Society. Renowned masters of Celtic music Brian Miller and Randy Gosa transport you to a 19th century lumber camp bunkhouse, where roving Irish-American lumberjacks created a unique brand of north woods entertainment based on the music of the Emerald Isle. The performances took place March 26 and 27, 2013. Performances took place at the Crookston Library and Moorhead Library. This project was partially funded with FY2012 Legacy funding of $2,145.68 (2012 LARL 07)
