Measurable Outcome(s)

Anecdotal evaluations:From John Minczeski –  I got an e-mail from Lana Palm at the high school earlier in the week, mentioning that her students were still talking about the residency. One of her students had misplaced several poems he had written during it and was...not quite distraught, but upset. From Colette Cotton – I am Colette Cotton, 4th grade teacher at NCW Elementary. I want to thank you for sending John Minczeski to our school. He was absolutely wonderful! I made a booklet of our poems that the 4th graders wrote. I want to send you a copy. What address should I send it to? Writing the poems was the fun part. Having the children type them by themselves was a task that just about drove me over the edge!!! Teaching! I do love it!Many, many thanks for your part in Mr. Minczeski’s visit to our school and the lyceums we were so fortunate to experience.Note:  The book of poems mentioned by Ms. Cotton was received and is on file. From Ollen Church, Superintendent – Thanks for lining this up.  The kids responded so well, and Mr. Minczeski was fabulous! From Lana Palm, high school teacher – He [Mr. Minczeski] was excellent.  The kids really liked him and it gave them a different perspective on poetry.
