Lonnie Dupre is a Minnesota author and Arctic Explorer. Lonnie Dupre's inspirational presentations introduced audiences to the wonders of the Arctic, teaching about setting and reaching goals, and what can be done to combat global warming.

Friends of the Moorhead Library contributed $100 plus refreshments, Friends of the Breckenridge Library contributed $25.00 of refreshments, State Bank of Hawley contributed $25.00 of refreshments, Rothsay Public School provided a venue, Norman County West School provided a venue and KRJB Radio 106.5 FM provided free advertising (Ada), The Historic Holmes Theatre provide a venue in Detroit Lakes at 50% of the normal rental fee.

Audience members will walk away with an inspiring message, and gained knowledge of the areas in which Lonnie has traveled.2. Attendees will also learn about the process of writing and publishing a book.3. The larger community will benefit by networking with others with similar interests, in addition to learning that the local library or LINK is a valuable community gathering place.
