Lise Lunge-Larson - Storytelling
Lake Agassiz Regional Library planned and implementeds two presentations o with Storyteller Lise Lunge-Larson.
1. Storytelling at the Library in Moorhead, and
2. Working with developmental psychology students at Concordia College (Moorhead).

Concordia College: Concordia College partnered with LARL in bringing the presenter to Moorhead. Travel, lodging and food costs were split between the Library and the College. Each entity paid Lise Lunge-Larsen fees for their portion of the presentations.
70 individuals attended the activity.
34 adults and 37 children.
Of the crowd, our staff only recognized 3 or 4 families that are regular attendees at Library events that include children.

After telling the stories many of the children and some adults asked questions. Several of the adults talked to Lise after the program and thanked her for an excellent program. Comments that were told to staff or staff heard: “That was wonderful,” “Please invite her back for another storytelling event,” “Very fun,” “Very imaginative,” “I loved it – these certainly were not the Disney version,” I have been waiting for this event and it was just wonderful.”All Lise Lunge-Larsen books were purchased for the Library’s collection before the activity. Every book was checked out after the event. Some participants brought their own copies to be signed.
