Project Overview

This project will feature artists and events featured at the Historic Holmes Theatre in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. The show will be 15 minutes in length to include artist interviews, featured music, and updates on our local area art scene. This will be a weekly program over the course of the grant.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)
  • Arts will be interwoven into every facet of community life through the public broadcast and the recorded audio formats available to other public radio stations of KKWE’s Coming from the  HHT – Music and More
  • This project will be a collaborative effort with our local art and music scene to bring more education and increased exposure to both local artists and artists who are traveling through our region
  • The public - regardless of age, ethnicity, income and ability -  will have the opportunity to be included in this programming
  • Through increased exposure the featured  artists will be able to gain opportunities to perform in other venues for income
