Project Overview

This project will restore wetlands on a newly created Waterfowl Production Area. This is part of a larger initiative to restore all wetlands in the Wetland Management District on USFWS lands. While the uplands have already been restored, we now need to complete the wetland restorations for the site to be fully functional and produce the maximum number of waterfowl and other wildlife. Monitoring of the wildlife response to these efforts will be conducted by USFWS biologists, summer interns, and Friends members.
