KMOJ- Gospel Explosion
A one day event that will highlight Minnesota's Gospel Artist. This showcase will feature individual artist, quartets, trios and choirs from across the state of Minnesota. This annual event will take place in September during Gospel Music Heritage Month.
$1,600,000 each year is appropriated for a grant to the Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations for production and acquisition grants in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, section 129D.19.
Increased exposure of local musical artist to the greater community. Attendance totals, artist participation in pre-event interviews/promotions with KMOJ and local media. Radio and social media exposure for each Artist that will support their efforts to enhance their careers.
