KUMD - Arts and Cultural Events
This project provides coverage of local artistic and cultural events throughout the Northland. KUMD will present week-long coverage featuring event participants, artists, and event organizers. Events include John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon, Homegrown Music Festival, Harvest Festival, Park Point Art Festival and Community Week.
$1,600,000 each year is appropriated for a grant to the Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations for production and acquisition grants in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, section 129D.19.
