Author Ann Zemke gave a one hour presentation based on her book, They Named Me Marjorie: The Brave Journey of an Orphan Train Rider on December 15 at the Pine City Public Library. She also brought along a very special quilt she made to commemorate her grandmother and her journey on that orphan train.

Attendees will learn about the history of the orphan trains, what became of those children and using a special commemorative quilt, the life and journey of one Minnesotan's grandmother on that train.
