Students will investigate how the rotation and revolution of Earth rules our perception of days, nights, and years. They will also observe the differences in the appearance of the sky due to those motions. They will also track the movements of the plants among the stars over a period of time.
89% of the kids attending the program said they learned something about the solar system, planets and stars. What they liked best was: Watching the earth rotate and revolve' When the drawings were on the constellations; Watching the planets move around the sun and when the planets got big and; learning new things; learning why we don't feel it when the earth spins; observing the north and south pole during different seasons.
