Project Overview
A series of programs were presented by entertainers represented by the G. L. Berg Agency. They included the following: Ventriloquist James Wedgwood performed at the Wyoming Elementary School on January 9, 2013; Ring of Kerry performed at the Pine City School Auditorium on March 17, 2013; Physical comedian, Kenny Ahern, performed at two school assemblies and for the Family Fun Night at the Wyoming Elementary School; C. Willi Myles, comedian, held a comedy performance at the McGregor School Auditorium on April 12, 2013; the a capella group, Tonic Sol Fa, did an educational workshop at the North Branch High School followed by an evening performance at the North Branch High School Auditorium on April 16, 2013; and Barbary Coast performed at the Aitkin Public Library on August 2, 2013.

Measurable Outcome(s)

65% of the students at the Wyoming Elementary School did not know what a ventriloquist was before James Wedgwood's visit and 50% said they may want to consider becoming one after the program presentation. 89% of those attending the Ring of Kerry Concert in Pine City thought the quality of the program was excellent. Other comments included: This was amazing!! The music was so authentically Irish! It made me smile so hard I blushed and feel so deeply I cried. And the dancers were breathtaking! THANK YOU! Comments about the Kenny Ahern's program at the Wyoming elementary school included: Very entertaining meaningful loved it; All of it! It was excellent! ; Evening performance comments included: Very entertaining enjoyed a lot. For the whole family; 94% felt C. Willi Myles performance in McGregor met their expectations and commented: Minnesota is funny!! loved it; Wow! I never stopped laughing! 100% of the students at NB High School loved the educational program and said "My favorite part of the workshop was when everyone joined together." 90% of the evening audience gave the program an excellent rating and commented the following: Have never attended acapella and I am 72. This won't be the last! You're lovely You have made me feel young and happy; Thank you! We drove from Little Falls to see the concert. Barbary Coast comments included: What a gift this concert is to the community! Many thanks for the high caliber musicians. Enjoyed their mingling with audience prior to concert.
