Attendees will learn about her childhood in Mankato and what it was like to grow up in Minnesota 100 years ago; learn how her friends and family helped her pursue her dram of becoming a writer; learn how technology changed everyday life at the turn of the last century; and learn about the rise of the middle class in the early 1900s.
