Jayne Becker from the Alexander Ramsey House discussed the history, symbolism and impact of lowers throughout our lives. A holiday tea followed the program. It was held at the North Branch Area Library on December 7, 2013.

Attendees will learn about the history, symbolism and impact of flowers on their lives from Minnesota Historical Society staff member, Jayne Becker. and how they related to life in the Alexander Ramsey House during the Victorian Age.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Only 64% in attendance were aware of the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. However, 100% in attendance felt the program met their expectations. Comments included: It was very informative and fun. A great way to spend an afternoon on a cold winter Day Thank you; Love history --- I love history; new experience for me.
