Project Overview

Author/illustrator, Carrie Hartman visited the Ogilvie Public Schools and presented a series of different programs for grades including the following: Getting Messy with Art Materials, Where Do Ideas Come from When I Illustrate or Write, Drawing-Writing Interactive Exercises, and reading from one of her books. Her evening presentation for the community was entitled, What Do Children’s Book Illustrators Do and included a PowerPoint presentation and a hands-on activity.

Project Details

A total of 484 kids and adults attended the Ogilvie Public School programs during the day and the program in the evening for the community.
